Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some common questions, answered. If you have any other inquiries, please feel free to reach out.
Q: How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
A: Compare your child's skills to age-specific milestones. Following a formal speech evaluation, you'll receive a score indicating whether they need additional services.
How to find age-appropriate milestones?
Please complete the contact form and include your request for the milestones in the message.
Should I Wait and See?
It is advisable not to wait and see if your child will naturally outgrow a delay. During this period, the gap in development may widen, making early intervention essential.

Q: Do you accept insurance?

A: At this time, we are private pay only. However, we offer superbills for parents to submit for out-of network benefits for the following insurances: Aetna, CIGNA, TRICARE, and Blue Cross Blue Shield
Cost Benefits
- The cost is predictable
- Insurances typically have a hard cap on how many sessions they cover
- Insurance does not cover all diagnoses, also depending on the severity
Treatment Benefits
- Allows the therapist to target functional outcomes and not just what insurance deems valuable
- Caregivers are driving the plan of care, frequency, and duration rather than the insurance company
Additional Benefits
- It might still be an option to submit the superbill towards your deductible, using OON benefits
- Allows your therapist to invest more time in your child's assessment and treatment
- Doesn't require a formal diagnosis like insurance does
